When you take a free intro with us, you’ll likely hear your coach highlight that we recommend a 3 month minimum for participation in fitness and nutrition coaching.

Now, you might think this is just a cash grab, the typical way a gym tries to get you to commit when they know you’re more than likely to quit within three months.

We do that because of one very simple reason, we want to take the pressure off of you.

The pressure to try and to achieve too much all at once

The pressure to see radical weight loss in a week or two. You know what I mean, the ads for skinny teas and high-intensity training programmes tell you you’re going to lose kgs just sitting still, and that you’re going to lose hundreds of calories every workout.

We relieve this pressure because want you to be successful for the next 50 years, not the next 50 minutes.

We want you to take the time needed to start to learn healthy habits that go along with eating healthy foods and training in a sustainable way.

You will hear us talk about the importance of taking a long term approach to your nutrition.

We recommend 3-month commitments and avoid things like fad diets that are quick fixes.

Now, in a few weeks, you’ll have the opportunity to take part in our next nutrition challenge.

So, if you recommend 3-month commitments, why do you offer nutrition challenges?

Sometimes it is necessary to stick your toes in the water before you jump in.

For most of us, we’ve been previously burned by poor experiences with health and fitness. Whether it is a gym membership or nutrition programme, many of us have had a bad time.

Our nutrition challenges give you the opportunity to build a little trust in us first before you commit to a longer programme.

The magic happens after 3 months.

Magic – things start becoming more automatic and more effortless. Settling into a lifestyle of eating vegetables with meals, drinking more water, getting into a meal prep routine, scheduling time for exercise, choosing healthy foods over sugary or highly processed items.

These things are just starting to fall into place and becoming less of a “chore” at the 3-month mark.

After 3 months, after you start to build your foundation of healthy habits, is when you can start to apply these habits in different situations.

Let’s face it – life is rarely static. There are days that life likes to throw different challenges and stressors your way.

Sticking with fitness and nutrition coaching after the 3-month mark helps to solidify your foundation, helping you to better deal with life situations and in turn, make better food choices despite the added stress.

We encourage you to not set an end date for your nutrition coaching.
